The training workshop titled "Judicial and Supervisory Work Standards" concluded this morning, Thursday, December 12, 2024, organized in collaboration between the Faculty of Law in Sorman and the General Administration for Monitoring and Follow-up at the National Anti-Corruption Authority.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Director General of Monitoring and Follow-up at the Anti-Corruption Authority, a member of the Constitutional Drafting Committee, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, the Dean of the Faculty of Languages, and several members of the judiciary and faculty staff.
The training workshop aimed to train 75 participants from the 23rd and 24th graduating classes of the Faculty of Law in Sorman. On this occasion, the media advisor of the National Anti-Corruption Authority delivered a speech conveying the congratulations of the legal representative of the authority to the participants for completing the training program. He also emphasized the importance of the training process for graduates, which contributes to their advancement and knowledge for their professional careers.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law in Sorman praised the cooperation of the National Anti-Corruption Authority and the judicial bodies in the success of academic, training, and preventive programs in the fields of judicial and supervisory work.
The closing program witnessed the distribution of attendance and completion certificates for the training workshop to the trainees.
It is worth noting that the activities of the workshop took place from December 10 to 12 of this month, focusing on training topics related to judicial and supervisory work, including local legislation and international agreements to combat corruption presented by Professor Hamida Al-Dahesh, a professor of international law, standards and codes of conduct for judicial officers by Mr. Haitham Mohammed Al-Koni, a member of the judiciary and a specialist in supervisory work standards, and standards of professional responsibility for members of the prosecution by Mr. Ahmed Salem Al-Yaqoubi, a public prosecutor.
